DeCotis Insurance Associates Inc., was founded in December 1989 as a subsidiary of a Boston based surplus lines insurance agency looking to open an office in the state of Rhode Island. Paul DeCotis, President is the sole stock holder and owner of the Company. DeCotis Insurance Associates of MA, LLC, which is owned and operated by DeCotis Insurance Associates, Inc., was formed in 2007 and is dedicated to servicing the needs of retail agents and brokers in Massachusetts and northern New England. The purpose of DeCotis Insurance Associates is to provide for its employees by soliciting, selling and servicing specialty programs and surplus lines insurance to retail insurance agents and brokers throughout New England.

With top notch technology, state of the art agency management and network operating systems, DeCotis Insurance Associates is able to quickly and efficiently respond to inquires while providing unparalleled customer service. Binding authority policies and endorsements are issued on premises and filed electronically with procedural workflows on all new and renewal business.

While representing a number of major surplus lines markets and binding authority carriers such as Essex Insurance Co., Western World Insurance Co., Atlantic Casualty and certain Underwriters at Lloyds of London, our wide range of Products and Services include Commercial Property & Casualty; Professional Liability; Personal Lines and Umbrella business. Our in-house Underwriting and Binding in the states of; Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.  We have Nationwide Capabilities for Brokerage Accounts.
