President and founder of DeCotis Insurance Associates, Inc. Paul is an underwriter and broker for; Commercial Property, Ocean & Inland Marine, and Auto/Truck Physical Damage. He has 35 years experience in the insurance industry as; an adjuster, retail insurance agent, and the past 25 years as a surplus lines broker.
He graduated from Providence College in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree is active in local and national trade associations and a member of NAPSLO's Legislative Committee.

Devin B. Haughey
Chief Operations Manager
As Chief Operations Manager, Devin is responsible for the general management and operations of DeCotis Insurance Associates. Previously, he served as Vice President & Operations Manager of an E&S and Wholesale Agency, established and controlled a full service property & casualty insurance agency and served as Assistant Vice President of one of the largest independently owned retail agencies in Massachusetts.
He has over 18 years of commercial & personal insurance experience, is a licensed property & casualty and surplus lines broker, graduated from Nichols College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Devin also studied at Regent's College in London, England (UK).

Thomas J. DeCotis
Senior Vice President, Account Executive
Tom is an underwriter and broker specializing in all lines of insurance including Umbrella, Prop / Casualty and Professional Lines. Tom is also responsible for all of the IT needs and concerns of the firm.
He has over 10 years of property and casualty insurance experience, graduated from the University of Vermont in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetic & Nutritional Science. Tom is an active member of PLUS, NAPSLO, and the Independent Agents Association of RI. He sits on the IIARI's Automation Committee and is an active member of the Young Agents group.

Peter is an underwriter and broker specializing in larger property and casualty risks. Previously, he worked as a commercial lines underwriter for The Travelers Insurance Company.
He has over 25 years of commercial and personal insurance experience, graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration & Management. Peter has been a member of the Government Affairs Committee for the Independent Agents Association of RI for the past 4 years.

Pat is an underwriter and broker specializing in MGA property and casualty risks for binding authority business. Pat manages and underwrites the DeCotis Insurance Associates Lloyd's of London Homeowners Program in addition to many other binding and brokerage authority commercial and personal risks.
Pat has 39 years of surplus lines insurance experience, has been with the firm for 14 years and is an active member of the National Association of Insurance Women.

Richard White, CIC
Sr. Account Executive
Richard is an underwriter and broker for all lines of Personal and Commercial property & casualty with a CIC designation and Certificate of Management from Open University (UK).
Richard has over 39 years of experience in underwriting, marketing and management with Zurich Insurance and General Accident both of the UK. In 1996 he was assigned to the United States to oversee the national development of the General Accident Small Business Program in Philadelphia eventually leading him to the Boston office of CGU. In 2002 he joined a Boston based wholesaler where he was head of the Property Division and joined DeCotis Insurance Associates in 2008.

Cassandra Cambra
Account Manager
Cass is an underwriter and broker specializing in personal lines property and casualty risks for both binding authority and brokerage business. Cass manages and underwrites the DeCotis Insurance Associates Lloyd's of London Homeowners Program and other MGA contracts. She joined the firm in 2001 as an underwriting assistant until being promoted to senior underwriter in 2007.
Cass is a 2001 graduate of Katharine Gibbs School, is active in the National Association for Insurance Women.

Sr. Account Executive
Joshua joined DeCotis Insurance Associates in May 2011 as a Sr. Account Executive and is responsible for the growth and development of Professional Liability Lines throughout New England.
Joshua brings over 6 years of professional lines underwriting experience with him. Most recently he was with Hiscox USA as an Assistant Vice President for the Northeast region. His last role included a variety of duties but focused on product development and underwriting lines of coverage such as D&O, Public Officials Liability, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime and Employed Lawyers.
Joshua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a member of Plus.

Account Executive
Jocelyn is an underwriter and broker specializing in personal lines property and casualty for both our Lloyd's of London Homeowners Binding Program and other Brokerage Products. She joined DeCotis Insurance Associates in October of 2010.
Jocelyn has several years of personal lines underwriting experience for both a national and regional Insurance Carrier. She is a graduate of Green Mountain College and holds a B.S. in Business Management.

Andrew Piper,
Account Executive
Andrew “Andy” Piper joined DeCotis Insurance Associates in October 2011 as an Account Executive and is responsible for the continued growth and development of commercial lines business throughout New England including Connecticut and New York. Andy brings over 20 years of commercial lines underwriting experience including 10 years as Underwriting Vice President at International Excess and Treaty Managers, Inc. (IETM) a regional MGA / MGU, and most recently as Sr. Production Underwriter for Great American Custom Insurance Services. Andy attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds a degree in insurance from the Insurance Institute of America.
